Hmm...

Definitely not my kind of music, but you have some serious skill and you seem to have quite a solid fan-base! I'm going to check out some of your other stuff.

thanks dude! :D

Epic.

First of all, really good use of percussion. One word to describe the atmosphere that this piece creates would be... Epic. Not the modern use of the word, but more along the lines of... heroic? I don't know. It's the same sort of feeling I got when I listen to the music from the game Age Of Empires.

Havegum responds:

Hmm well I was in fact inspired by Civilization III Conquest.. but the music is kinda the same ...

Dude..

Amazing piece dude. It reminds me of Rainbow Six 3, not just the music. I love the ending. Keep it up dude.

HAHAHA

HAHAHAHHAHAHHA Oh man this is beautiful. Fantastic work here.

I now realise how bored I must have been ...

OH YEAH...

What a fantastic sound! A very nice track, a lovely intro, a great catchy bass line, good use of soft pads and effects and a delicious beat that made me have to go change my pants. However I might have made the beat slightly stronger, maybe turning up the bass on them a bit or giving them some compression.

Can't wait to see this in a flash! *Checking out your other work*

Hmm...

Very similar to the first one, however I think that was the intension was it not? I like this one better for some reason. However theres this weird buzzing noise thats making my speakers go crazy if i turn it up a little to loud... maybe the audio is clipping? Did you notice the levels going over the limit when recording this?

Havegum responds:

First of all, yes, it was intentionnal - the similarity ...

2nd, I played the song over and over again but didnt notice any clipping, and i dont have the same problem, hopefully it can be fixed by downloading it ...

Groovy

...and catchy! I really like the part that comes in at around 0:30. But some of the instruments sound like pure midi, maybe you should choose higher quality synths...

It loops really well! Me listen to your other one now.

Mmm....

Oh that slow moaning pad is so relaxing... then when that guitar came in ahh. Makes you feel so... "drifty." I listened to this quite a few times and it loops reasonably well as well. Would be great for a main menu in a game or something.

Havegum responds:

I never thought of this as a menu song!
haha, now that I listen to it, it could might work!

Groovy

I would be really, really surprised if this doesn't get used in a flash. It's really catchy and has a really nice beat. Easy listening! Although this is a really nice loop it has so much potential! I think you could turn this into a really great full-length track.

Have you ever played Sonic Heroes? Well this song reminds me of the music in the futuristic city levels, especially when that really epic guitar riff came in at 0:48. I love this, and as said before I would be really surprised if someone didn't use this.

Havegum responds:

Hehe, none downloads one vote and 13 listesns so far.. i dont think it will ever be used...

Good but...

Quite enjoyable up until that section about halfway through the song... I don't know what it was but it didn't sound quite. Maybe it was lacking the correct bass root notes? I don't know maybe it's just me I'm really tired. I would have made the bass a bit stronger as well. I like the alternating subtle melodies and the soft pads just give it the right the right effect. Good work.

Havegum responds:

Thank you.

I probably won edit this loop, but I will try to focus more on the bass in the time forward ^_^
